CBD Product Massage

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is unique among treatment modalities in that it draws the muscle upward, unlike other therapies like massage or acupressure, which compress the tissue. This upward pull elongates muscles and releases fascia, similar to the effects of compression.

Cupping therapy is highly effective in relieving pain and fascial restrictions, especially in areas with chronic issues or incomplete healing. The suction creates microtrauma, drawing attention to the area, loosening structures, and promoting a natural healing response by bringing in fresh blood, nutrients, and oxygen.

Additionally, cupping is incredibly relaxing, making it an excellent treatment for stress and tension as it releases muscles and endorphins.

During cupping treatment, you might feel a mild soreness as your skin and fascia layers are drawn into the cups. After cupping, visible marks may be left on your body and it may take a few days to disappear.

Policies & Procedures

Respecting both the client's and therapist’s boundaries is essential.

The following policies are in place to maintain professionalism:

Boundaries & Needs

• I am happy to adjust pressure, temperature, music, or focus on specific areas as requested.
• Clients may choose how much clothing to wear for comfort and will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped.
• The breast and genital areas will not be massaged under any circumstances. Permission will be asked before working near these areas; otherwise, a professional distance will be maintained.
• Involuntary sensual responses may occur and will naturally subside.
• Sexual interaction or discussion is NEVER appropriate. Requests for sexual activity will be treated as solicitation, reported, and the client will not be rescheduled.
• I reserve the right to end a session immediately if any policy is violated, with full session charges applied.
• Emotional responses during massage are natural. Clients are free to express emotions in a safe environment or end the session at any time

Sanitation & Hygiene

• All equipment and linens will be sanitized after each use.
• Hands and forearms will be washed with soapy water and disinfectant before and after each massage.
• Both the client and therapist should arrive clean. Breaks in the skin will be avoided.
• Health concerns should be communicated, and rescheduling will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Confidentiality & Conversation

• All discussions are confidential. Clients may choose whether or not to talk during the session.
• The therapist will not discuss personal matters and prefers to avoid topics of politics, religion, or sex.
• Records may be released under court order or to a physician.

Health History

• Clients must inform the therapist of any medical treatments, medications, or changes in health conditions and provide written permission from a healthcare provider if needed.

Scope of Practice

• Massage is a health-enhancing system that normalizes soft tissue and promotes body balance. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Therapists do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat specific conditions but may refer clients to a medical professional. Regular massage is recommended for cumulative benefits.

Informed Consent

• Policies will be discussed during the initial intake. Clients will receive a copy of the policies and must sign a consent form via email.

Appointments

• All sessions are by appointment only. Regular scheduling is recommended for optimal health benefits.

Arrival

• New clients should arrive 10 minutes early; established clients, 5-10 minutes early. Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions with full charges applied.

Late Arrival Policy

• Late arrivals will not extend the session. In special cases, accommodation may be made, but this is at the therapist’s discretion.

Cancellation Policy

• Our time together is important. Clients are expected to pay 50% of the service fee for cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice. No-shows and same-day cancellations will be charged the full service rate. This policy helps ensure that your therapist’s time is respected and allows other clients to receive needed services.
•  A credit card number is required to book future appointments to ensure appropriate fees are charged if a late cancellation occurs. Cancellations will be accepted by phone message, text, voicemail (including caller, time of call, and appointment time), or email with the same information. Clients who repeatedly fail to show up for their scheduled appointments will not be rescheduled.

Gift Certificates

• All policies apply to gift certificate appointments. Certificates are non-transferable.

Refunds

• ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE FINAL. No refunds on services or gift certificates. Annual rate increases may apply.
